SMProxy App (the App) is provided by Rb Media FZC LLC (we) on an as-is basis. This page informs users about our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of data when using the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We do not use or share your information with third parties except as described below.
VPN data
We do NOT collect or store your VPN connection data. We do NOT modify the content of transmitted data and do NOT share confidential or identifying information with third parties.
SMProxy App is a VPN client in which you connect to your own servers added manually: by link, QR code or from a config. VLESS, Reality, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks and WireGuard/AmneziaWG are supported. When you connect to your own server, you retain full control over your data and are responsible for it. The App itself does not alter the traffic sent from your device to the configured server.
Data collection and consent
On iOS and macOS, diagnostic data is collected ONLY with your explicit consent, requested on first launch. You can change your choice at any time via the Send diagnostics toggle in the Privacy section. Declining does NOT limit any app features.
On Android, Windows and Linux the same anonymized data set is sent without a separate prompt — by continuing to use the app you accept this (the data set is listed below).
What we collect (only with your consent): device identifier (HWID), device model, operating-system version, app version, device language and the provider configuration identifier. The latter indicates which providers config is used — not your identity. Your subscription URLs are NOT collected.
Why: to deliver messages from your VPN provider and keep basic aggregated activity statistics, and to operate and improve the service.
Where it goes: to our servers over an encrypted connection.
What we do NOT collect: browsing history, visited sites, DNS queries or the content of your network traffic. SMProxy App keeps no log of activity passing through the VPN.
Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw consent at any time in the app — data transmission then stops.
Ads and monetization
SMProxy App contains no ads and uses no in-app monetization.
Children privacy
The App does not collect personally identifying information from anyone. Accordingly, no identifying information is collected from children under 13.
Third-party links
The App may contain links to third-party sites that we do not operate. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these resources and recommend reviewing their terms yourself.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We notify you of changes by publishing the updated version on this page. Changes take effect upon publication.
